Doctor’s Breakfast = King’s Breakfast = Healthy Breakfast = Vitalizing Breakfast
based on Yohanna Budwig’s “CREME BUDWIG”, popularized in 1970-1990 by Dr. Catherine Kousmine and updated and personalized by Dr. Trotta through daily experimentation since 1999. Gluten-free!
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED :
– FULL RICE (Camargue or Basmati) or freshly ground RICE or SARRASIN FLOUR
– COLZA OIL (ideal for creaming as it is not bitter) or Linseed oil or walnut oil, always extra-virgin and first cold-pressed
These oils can be found in all health food stores
– APPLES, FRUITS in season (as fresh as possible)
– ALMONDS, NUTS, HAZELNUTS (a handful per person)
– LEMON
– (+/- HONEY)
RECIPE
1/ Soak wholegrain rice overnight to pre-germinate
the next day, rinse thoroughly and cook in 2 times its volume of water for 20 minutes over a low heat
leave to cool (you can then store it in the fridge and prepare a sufficient quantity if you don’t have time to cook it every day): 2 cases/pers. per day 2/ either grind (with an electric mill) 2 cases/pers. of rice flour, or buckwheat flour; this is fresher and more vitamin-rich than cooked pre-sprouted rice, but some fragile intestines find it less tolerable at the start of a change in eating habits. Time will do the trick… The squeezed lemon added to the freshly ground flour will help its assimilation by pre-cooking it cold. 3/ mix cooked rice or buckwheat flour with first cold-pressed oil (1 case/person) and 1/2 squeezed lemon/person 4/ then add almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts or raisins 5/ add chopped fresh fruit and honey (if you can’t get enough of the sweet taste at first) to replace white sugar (too refined), and sprinkle with sesame seeds and/or linseed. If you’re not intolerant to milk casein, you can add a little ewe’s curd or soya yoghurt to make it creamier. All these living foods should replace dead, refined foods such as refined, transparent commercial oils, white bread, milk (uht=heated to 200 degrees, destroying the active ingredients) and sugar (too much white sugar in jams, for example). Bon appétit!
